Brett Groves
Director

Brett brings with him more than 20 years of exhibition and event experience, which means he’s really old. Having worked in London and Australia, Brett has purposefully worked in all areas of the business as both the organiser and the supplier; enabling him the knowledge to produce solutions, foresee and overcome obstacles and deliver on project goals. His only downfall really is that he is a huge Kylie Minogue fan.

Brett is a proud Wiradjuri man who has grown the successful company The Wow Factor Australia Pty Ltd and more recently, The Wow Factor Home, based on the Indigenous values of Respect, Humility, and Tolerance.

The Blue Mountains is the place Brett calls home with his family and is a keen gardener in his spare time. He often speaks of his established and impressive Australian Native garden, however this is yet to be verified.

As an admirer of all things design (and Kylie Minogue), Brett loves all things creative exploring the world, traveling to different destinations soaking in design inspiration. But if you try and talk extensively on admin and detail and you’ll lose him. You know he’s gone when he starts belting out ‘Better the devil you know’… by that stage you may as well move onto something else.

Brett is enjoying discovering his roots and being part of the positive future story of Indigenous Australia.

Jodie Kahukiwa
General Manager

After being in the industry for approximately 15 years, Jodie thinks she knows it all, and annoyingly she kinda does…. Starting out in retail fit-outs for one of the trendiest brands at the time, she soon realised she had a natural talent for organisation and being extremely bossy (in a nice way of course) and went on to become an amazing Project Manager.

Since then she has gone on to manage projects for large internationally renowned companies to small boutique companies across many different industries and she values every client equally.

In the past 8 or so years, Jodie’s roles have also included General Management of the business and staff. She has a good understanding of the business across the board, and appreciates how important it is to maintain good working relationships with everyone around her.

Spreadsheets are her favourite tool.

On a personal note, she is a mother of three, loves animals, the four legged cantering type are her favourite, loves swimming and being near the ocean but also loves the country life…. So when she wins the lotto, she’s going to buy acreage next to the beach.

Andy Collins
Senior Designer

Andy is a Senior Designer and brings a wealth of design knowledge having obtained his Degree in Exhibition Design over 30 years ago at Lincoln University UK. Andy has worked continually in the industry since then, including an 8 year stint as a Design Lecturer at UTS Sydney… And we thought Brett was old.

Andy specialises in creating cutting edge exhibition and retail designs. He has worked across a broad range of clients, industries and countries notably automotive, medical, retail and has won numerous design awards – all with budgets ranging from just a few thousand to multi-million dollar projects.

It’s often joked around the office that Andy is so creative that he has created a world all of his own in which he visits regularly. We have branded this world as ‘Andy Land’; a magical land that has synergy and everything makes total sense. It’s a world with a population of one.

Although originally born and raised in the UK, Andy has been a proud Sydney Northern Beaches resident for nearly 30 years. With an insatiable love of the outdoors he is partial to the odd mountain biking or paddle boarding adventure, he can also often be found at his favourite hanging spot, Andy Land.

Aimee Dickson
Senior Project Manager

Aimee is a vibrant hard-working, creative professional who’s as passionate about the details as she is about the strategy. You’ll find her seeking truth, inner peace, and the end to world hunger but in the short-term a really good coffee will suffice.

Aimee has been in the exhibition, design and project management sector for 20 years. She is a clear-minded, organised and calm presence amidst the juggernaut that is event and project management.

Her long list of experience includes exhibitions, events, retail & office fit out projects. Key to Aimee’s work is making the complicated simple. Just don’t ask what her favourite colour is… (there’s an unfair war going on between green and blue, the struggle is real).

A career highlight for Aimee was planning and managing the install of a huge exhibition stand at SPOGA in Cologne Germany. When she’s not busy sorting through samples, making prototypes, planning, and problem solving you can find Aimee at the beach with her family and her best fur-friend Ziggy.
